A Surprising Rent
I bought this watch over for a trip to India - I wanted the tritium illumination so I could tell the time day or night. It indoors quickly and after I had a couple of links removed from the band it fit well and was comfortable. The illumination was great - even stronger than the Traser I own. The period feature is difficult to view because there's no magnification on the glass, unlike most other watches I own (the Traser has a very large escort function to compensate for its equally smooth mineral glass). But frankly I didn't solicitude - this is a utilitarian watch and it was working just fine.Then... I was standing in the sunshine in front of the Taj Mahal when hastily I felt the watch slip off my wrist. I caught it before it hit the ground and saw that the strap had come to another place from the attachment point on the casing. I thought perhaps the retaining pin had failed but no, it was fine. Closer inspection revealed that the wrapper itself had simply crumbled, leaving the strap to come...

Still using .. but !
I am in south America, no commitment, so repairs must be made locally.I had many problems with metal strap. After repairing, finally no more problems.Then more recent hand fell, again to watch repair shop, now is fine.Third issue, with crown.. mow down off. So back again to repair shop. Three days later working fine.Tested waterproof, Ok .Tritium tubes and visibility, OK.It is a agreeably looking and comfortable watch, excellent to leave during the night on table with the watch clock looking to you.Quality factory issues makes this watch below quality standards.nevar had to reapir 3 times in a year.Once "repaired" and a after a year of use, still using it and succeeding.

As a soldier, knowledgable the time is crucial. This watch does the job, no matter the lighting conditions. I've owned several watches, and this is by far the most fashionable functional time piece one could ask for.The only issue that I've had, which thankfully fell under the 1 year warranty against corporeal and craftsmanship defects, was there is adhesive tape under the hour and minute hands. The adhesive strap that holds the tritium bars can come off. With mine, it was the hour hand. This small peice of band caused the watch to stop working, however a little shake and it was a tickin again.Outside of this child defect I am extremely happy with this purchase, and would recommend it to anyone who works long hours in the base, and still...
Worthy Stylish Watch
I was not naturally looking for this particular brand of watch. I have a small wrist and wanted a smaller weight watch (under 39mm case) so this watch fit the bill (has a 37mm case).When the watch arrived, it had a dead battery. I replaced the battery-operated and it has worked well since. I am very happy with the size and style of the watch. Titanium does make a balance on the weight of the watch. It is definitely lighter than other watches of this size in this category.I first called the vendor to see if there was some 'accomplishment' to get the watch started, as it was not running. They said there were no special procedures that they knew of. They gave me the add up of the the manufacturer, Smith & Wesson.I called S&W. Amazingly, a real person who knows the produce answered on the second ring. They said to replace the battery, and if that did not work, call them back.

Almost masterful!
My bridegroom corrodes almost all types of bands except leather,gold or titanium- This has been a God send- still intact. Almost certainly read in the dark. One complaint- a decorative screw came off and haven't been able to supplant it- but doesn't affect performance of watch.
This is not a diplomat anticipate
This watchman on the alert for looks much better on the picture than it is in reality. The massive hexagonal design is more suitable for a car mechanic or plumper. It in fact looks like a large screw nut with this uneven surface - it is neither polished neither matt. I don't accept why it is called "Diplomat". The tritium light is only visible in complete darkness, if you come into a swart corridor from a light room, you might not even see it. Ordinary luminescence is much brighter in such conditions. If you need to lop off the bracelet, you need a special tool - the pins are very tight.
