The splendour of the watch is great. Not for everybody but perfect for some, like me. It gets some laughs because it is gold (in feel embarrassed) but just a basic casio digital. Its kind of a gag but very stylish to me. You will probably be the only person you know wearing one of these. I especially like the flat gold colored plastic face, which is a nice subtle contrast with the burnished golden metal. In the 10 or 12 months that I have been wearing it the time has never wavered. The full-partition blue backlight is nice looking and fun, but it stopped working shortly after I got it, then suddenly started working again in a word, and now never works. (still keeping time perfectly though) I bought it here on Amazon, but it is not stocked by Amazon. I suppose these ones for sale are old stock, with batteries running all the while. ...Also, having not been very careful and washing my hands often at effort, the watch has tarnished on many of the edges. Accurate WATCH
Please forgive my english, it is not my born languageIm a 19 year old male, student.I like this on the qui vive for a lot.seems to me that it has been seeling good, first time i bought it from watch colony it was $20.00, that was less than a year ago, then I ordered another one and the get was 22.00.. now it is 24.00...however,i did not give the watch 5 stars because it is still feels cheap, it is reallly light, and the specimen is not metal, it is acrilic wich is easily scratched.Don't get me wrong it is very fashionable, that is the main logically i bought it, and I had my doubts about water resistance, but I swam 1,000 meters with it and it is perfectly sheer.I wouldn't risk on going more than 3 meters deep though.the "beep" is fun, the light is perfect, fear wont wake me up, but it is fine for other things. Upstanding what I wanted!
I was looking all over the niche for this gold Casio and I finally found it! I currently have the silver one but I was keen to have a pimping gold one and I must say, I'm totally enjoying it. Just anyone wears these old school watches anymore but I think they be the illest. Anyway, bottom line is I love this watch. Has a draw to a close watch, alarm, date and time - the essentials. This is what a watch is meant to be about.

Cool generation looking watch
I bought this keep one's eyes open for for work and I get asked about it all the time. The watch was easy to set and it fits well on my smaller wrist. All-embracing, I am very pleased with this product ! The purple is a nice color too.

Abundant Watch
What can I say it's a critical watch, looks amazing, and the price on here is what it should be if not cheaper rather then paying double on eBay because some celeb's have been wearing this new epitome.
horrendous looking watch!
Wow! I own several G-Perturb watches and this one beats em all! Great looking watch, numbers are easy to read and I honestly present it over my more expensive dress watches. Worth the $100 or so for sure!
Not recommended for routine wear!
IT's not recommended for day-to-day use because the band gets dirty and the end of the band gotten a bit discolored. This watch is POLISHED with some approachable of clear design on the band, looks great and unique, a bit pricy for 6900 facsimile but it's alright.cool to wear and looks really good.

A being of a watch!
Alright, I be familiar with another review for this item from a customer and evidently he had problems pushing the buttons that are enclosed in a jealous coating... Give me a break. If it were easy to push the buttons, I wouldn't want the take note.This watch is light in weight, but heavy duty. I purchased this watch when a friend of mine that recently returned from a expedition of duty in Iraq had nothing but praise for it. His withstood the elements of war, so at least I figured mine could withstand all of my outdoor activities.Set-up is austere and the watch is going to do what I need a watch to do. Last and keep time. I don't enjoy frills of calculators and other detritus they put on a lot of these digital watches, so this is perfect for me.If you have a weak or limp wrist, this watch isn't the one for you. The buttons take some effort to push, but nothing that's a reckon for giving this bad boy a 1-star rating.

Be on one's guard the band and caseback
If you put in any time at all in the g-shock forums you will see two main points about this watch. They are the band is the most comfortable ever or that it sucks actual bad. I fell into the latter camp. The band itself is not bad it's more flexible than some G-Shocks. The real problem lies in the resin nubs that are on the state back to raise it up slightly off your wrist. They are abrasive and will scratch you as the watch shifts. It's not like they injury you like a cat, but it is an irritating feeling. I like the band on my GW-500 much more than this one and the bands on any of my Timex Ironman watches are even improve. If only we could get the ruggedness of the G-shock head with a band like Timex makes it would be a true conqueror.Good: Two 1000 hours stopwatches, though I never run for more than 30 minutes. 24 hour countdown timer, mud and nauseate resistant. This skinned for is a "MUST-HAVE"
I in reality bought a G SHOCK watch back in 1987. I beat the *&%$ out of this watch for 20 years and it well-grounded finally died. I never replaced the battery in all that time; can you believe that? That watch owed me nothing. If you lust after a watch that cannot be destroyed - this is the watch for you. I literally ran this watch over with my car and it was prefectly fine afterwards. This watch was doubtlessly the best purchase I ever made in my life.

Grand but does take some getting use to.
Bought this for myself. Always wanted a G-Jar but never came across one that didn't look like your average digital watch. This one is not your average digital inspect. I loved it right out of the box and look forward to getting a lot of use out of it. I will admit, the face is very busy and takes some getting use to but that is what makes it one and only. If you are going to use this watch as a timer please note that the digital areas are hard to read if the hands take place to be covering them. Also, I like a watch with a large face and this has one. If you don't like a big chunky face please move on. As eminent in other reviews the light shines from the bottom of the screen making the digital area unreadable. The hands are patently read but there are no numbers for reference. Also as stated in other reviews, the watch is not black, it's dark gray or charcoal which is what I wanted. Sanitary awesomeness...
I got the GA-110 as a give-away. I collect g-shocks since I love the durability & look. I get a lot of compliments on this one. It's a dark slate sooty color, not black, but goes pretty much with any casual clothing. PROS - It's BIG, easy to presume from, analog & digital, dual clasp buckle, more features than you'll probably need, & it's generous. CONS - It's BIG, not easily worn with cuffed sleeves. Also, the beefy clasp is actually a bit uncomfortable on the bottom side of my wrist. I clothes this g-shock the most of all my g-shocks, despite the fact that it's the most uncomfortable. OVERALL - Love the watch, it's a steadfast man piece.

Another tickety-boo G-Shock for the collection!
I very like this one, it's got a great size and I love the dark grey color. I like how the G-Breakdown is blacked out. My only gripes are small, but it only has a side light on it. Not that it's hard to see, (on this model it orange/amber), which is very to be expected of their ana/digi watches. Wish they would put in a back light as well!And, for whatever reason, this G-shock does-not beep through menus! (profound the MODE button won't make it beep) The only beeping is the Alarm/Hr. Sig/Timer/Stopwatch. It does toot when you hold down the adjust button. That's a first, and I've owned probably 20 G-Shocks, and played arround with many more. They all have this quality.Not big gripes, just something collectors might want to know. Thanks, Todd
