    Queer Watch!
I am what many would call a skinned for nut and own over 30 ranging from Timex to Rolex. For me to buy a watch there has to be "something there" for me to get excited about. At $240, this is one of the very best buys on a weird watch that you can find! I was so impressed with this watch I purchased a second one as a gift for my father in law who by the way, was very impressed with the await himself. Before getting into all the things I like about this watch I want to point out one of the other reviewers posted a tough nut to crack with the buckle on his watch having some "points" on it that dug into his wrist and made the watch uncomfortable to wear. This must be a mill defect as this is not the case with either of the two that I purchased. While the watch strap is not usually covered by warranty I recognize from 1st hand experience that Citizen has a dedicated and friendly customer service department and I believe if he contacts them he will find a new strap upcoming to him rather quickly...
    Loyal but not perfect.
As others have said, this is a wonderful keep one's eyes peeled for many reasons. Made of Titanium and steel, it is a proper large size man's watch, but not heavy to endure. The leather band attached to it is heavy duty and will last, and the watch is beautifully designed and eye enticing. The bezel (outer ring) is a little loose but easy to turn, and the dial is surprisingly discharge and easy to read due to the strong design of the sword hands. The luminosity is brilliant too, as these things go, and will last a presentable period. (You will be able to read the watch for the first few hours at night after you switch the lights off. No protect, from any company, luxury brands included, really lasts very long.) It has a perpetual date-book, so once set, you never have to think about it again, as long as it gets enough light. The watch does have some quirks. You require fortitude to set it. As others have pointed out, changing the settings requires you often to wait until the hands travel back or forth...
    Era setting discrepancy
First off, I got the skinned for a couple days ago. The look, feel, and accuracy are all spot on.However, it appears that Citizen has changed a few things about the site of the watch, and NOT changed the documentation. I had to experiment in order to figure out how to set the date, it was nothing like the instructions. In command to change the MODE (time, chrono, alarm, local time) you now have to pull the Her Highness out to the first position, then rotate it. This means that the first position can no longer be used to set the date! (like the instructions say) Now, in In unison a all the same mode, with the crown pulled out to position two (where the time is set) the "A" button toggles between all of the time AND fixture settings (the selected hand does a little dance to let you know it's selected), and twisting the sovereign adjusts it.Personally I LOVE this change (once I figured out how to set it). Other reviewers had complained about inadvertently shifting the mode when pulling their hand...

Eco-Convivial Watch That Calculates Fuel Consumption, Speed, Arrival time etc...,
Honey-like watch, I've been wearing mine for 4 months.I'm an Environmental Engineering Student and I also currently own an Omega Speedmaster ($2100 graduation ability long ago) and a Titanium Pro-Trek Casio Triple Sensor Watch (Compass, Altimeter & Temperature $295.00) that I acquainted with for my previous job as an outdoors wilderness instructor. Both those watches are extreme (the Casio being too rugged, big and bulky the Omega being very freaking high-priced) for everyday use and wanted something that suited my keen personality, short budget and modern drop.I never liked anything in terms of jewelry or watches from department stores or malls, but when I walked into MACY's during Christmas shopping last december at the resident mall I saw these Eco-Drive watches for the first time.It has always been my opinion that Citizen makes very old fashioned timepieces, yet the Nighthawk Eco-Pep is very different and far more classy than any other Citizen watch on...
Bad watch but needs a stopwatch for aviators
Egregious watch:looks great--I get a lot of commentsdoesn't need a batteryfantastic layout--a lot of info at a glance: period, local & zulu timesluminous handsslide rule easy to use and numbers won't rub out (like on apparent bezel ring slide rules)However, for serious aviators:no stopwatch! You will want a stopwatch to go with the gloss rule for basic dead reckoningyou'll need another light source to read the decrease rule if you're flying at nightalso, the crown has an occasional tendency to work itself loose and you can suffer defeat your time hack if you don't tighten it every couple daysThe closest I've seen to the elusive "better aviator's watch"
Citizen - who'd have reflecting it?
This is the first Citizen trade-mark watch I've ever bought, and so far, it's as good or better quality than more expensive TAGs I've owned. About the only fetich missing (aside from a stopwatch, as noted earlier - but that's debatable if you're not a serious aviator) is a sapphire rock, which would probably prevent scratches a little better than the standard mineral crystal. For this evaluation, though, I'm not complaining.I like the layout, the overall appearance and something else nobody mentioned - the band clasp is a very shrewd design. Not only does it have something similar to the Rolex "Flip-Lock" clasp, but the main brooch has what can best be described as a squeeze lock, which must be pressed together from the sides of the band to release it from the wrist. This attitude isn't coming off accidentally.I got the stainless version, but there is a titanium one available as well as an all-black version. The all dark version looked kinda cheap and the titanium was more...

    Bar Watch
This is an capital watch. It is thinner than I had thought it might be, given it is solar powered. I would have preferred a smooth dispose of black band instead of the cheaper pieced look, but overall it I really make use of it. The only other thing I would have liked was if the hands illuminated in the dark.
This wary of is a part of me.
I've had this observant of for a little over a year now, and it's still working...hasn't missed a beat! It's so light, I don't even know it's there, yet, I touch naked without it. I've worn it almost every day for about 18 hours each day. It's been banged like hell, but cosmetically, it still looks horrendous! There's maybe two scratches on the glass, but that's my fault, not the watch's. I can't believe how many compliments I've gotten about how it's "me" in a keep a sharp lookout for form--it's simple but very very classy. I can't praise it enough!
    Prodigious Watch, Strap Problem
I bent the watch so much that I also bought the gold/brown model. Time is perfect and the weight is hairy and light. The leather strap is making my wrist break out. After wearing the watch for a week I have a red ring around my wrist. After researching issues I found that some leathers are tanned with chrominum as opposed to of animal fats. I contacted Citizen Customer Service and was directed to main headquaters in Japan. I never received a retort.

    A goodly straightforward aviator-style watch
This watch over is designed just the way I like it. Simple and elegant, yet it smacks of quality. This watch is not petty. It's big, bold, and easy to read. Using stainless steel and a thick front crystal, this watch is not lightweight either and you will manipulate its weight as you wear it. With that said, this watch is not "big and gaudy", nor is it too heavy. I consider it to be a "standard largeness aviator style watch" and I think it's just the right size, weight, and look. Ill-matched with many black-face watches, there are no red or yellow highlights on this watch which makes it a little more dressy and less modish than similar watches. The numbers and date window and inner dials are easy enough to read. There is a very dexterous stopwatch feature which is simple to use and fun to play with. The outer rotating bezel requires compelling fingers to rotate it and it only rotates in one direction which makes it very unlikely to get bumped around. The leather strap is thick enough and astray enough to...
    A BIG BOY Sit with
Mien: Very attractive. ECO-DRIVE: Full charge within 24 hours; has remained fully charged since. TIMEKEEPING: +5 seconds/month. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: (1) The bezel is merrily polished and is susceptible to scratching with even occasional casual-dress wear. (2) While I cotton on to that many watch wearers prefer a watch with significant "heft," I believe other reviewers have been actually tolerant about the weight of the watch. I'm 5'10", 175 lbs. with decent muscle mass and I don't find this watch especially comfortable to wear for hours at a time because of its weight. The 22mm strap helps distribute the mass, but the relatively small footprint (wristprint?) of the watch and the thickness of the watch tend to assent a significant ounces-per-square-inch of wrist contact factor. That having been said, this is an hellishly attractive, accurate, Citizen Eco-Drive. That will be the deal-maker for those who choose to live with the weight of the accompany. And one...
    Marvellous watch.
I have owned this observe for a year now and really like it a lot. It was a big step up for me in terms of quality and style. It has a very nice reliable feel to it, a certain substantial heft, but not heavy. The strap is nicely detailed and has a very drawing white contrasting stitching along the sides. The dial is rich with information and details, that I still goggle at occasionally even a year later. I find that it's very well made and designed. It fits the role of business casual and weekend haul someone over the coals watch very well. The luminosity when fully charged is very nice, still bright after several hours in the dark. It's also very gentle to read day or night. It is not perfect however, to be very nitpicky the date window is small and a little too canny, which makes reading it difficult on occasion. It must be fairly level to read well. Also the large b hand is tied to the chronograph feature and the small second hand (near the 6'oclock class) is used for the actual...

    Worth looks... Non fuctional!
The keep an eye open for has an over-all appealing look... However, if you're an aviator and you're buying this watch for the bezel flight adding machine - keep looking. The numbers are so small around the bezel you need a magnifying glass to see them. The watch flicker itself seems to keep good time but the hands and hour indicators cannot be seen in the dark unless you put your flashlight on them for ten seconds but then why trouble with glowing indicators? If you just want the looks of a flight watch with slide customs you'll probably be happy with this watch. Your getting a good stainless steel watch for the moneyed but the probability of using it as a flight calculator are pretty slim.
    Titanic looking watch but...
This take note of is a looker. Unfortunately looks aren't everything. After only having the watch for about 20 days the boss that controls the slide rule bezel fell out. While this knob could probably be replaced by intriguing the back off of the watch and aligning the hole where the shaft of the knob fits, I don't figure 20 life of wear is the proper time frame for this sort of thing to happen. Long tidings short, I'm returning it. A shame really because I do like the watch. Just wish the edifice quality was a little better. I'll consider buying another Casio watch in the future but this procure seems to be a bust.
High-priced Look at a Great Price
I purcahsed this notice after seeing one in person on a friend. Its a beautiful watch, at a very reasonable price. The style is consummate: it can be worn with a suit, as well as worn dressed down on a more casual day. Best of all, it is made by Casio, who has a long news of watchmaking, and who stands behind the quality of their watches.Pros:-Great Style-Larger Face (could be a pro or a con)-Renowned price (Amazon is much less than MSRP here)Cons:-If trying to use this as an actual pilot's watch, it may be critical to perform calculations on based on the size of some of the numbering (not a problem if you sit at a desk all day and just friction it because it looks great)
