    Opportune looks... Non fuctional!
The note has an over-all appealing look... However, if you're an aviator and you're buying this watch for the bezel flight computer - keep looking. The numbers are so small around the bezel you need a magnifying glass to see them. The watch flicker itself seems to keep good time but the hands and hour indicators cannot be seen in the dark unless you put your flashlight on them for ten seconds but then why pest with glowing indicators? If you just want the looks of a flight watch with slide charge you'll probably be happy with this watch. Your getting a good stainless steel watch for the flush but the probability of using it as a flight calculator are pretty slim.
    Fast looking watch but...
This alert for is a looker. Unfortunately looks aren't everything. After only having the watch for about 20 days the handle that controls the slide rule bezel fell out. While this knob could probably be replaced by winning the back off of the watch and aligning the hole where the shaft of the knob fits, I don't figure 20 duration of wear is the proper time frame for this sort of thing to happen. Long plot outline short, I'm returning it. A shame really because I do like the watch. Just wish the edifice quality was a little better. I'll consider buying another Casio watch in the future but this purchase seems to be a sculpture.
Priceless Look at a Great Price
I purcahsed this guard after seeing one in person on a friend. Its a beautiful watch, at a very reasonable price. The style is right on: it can be worn with a suit, as well as worn dressed down on a more casual day. Best of all, it is made by Casio, who has a long history of watchmaking, and who stands behind the nobility of their watches.Pros:-Great Style-Larger Face (could be a pro or a con)-Great price (Amazon is much less than MSRP here)Cons:-If difficult to use this as an actual pilot's watch, it may be difficult to perform calculations on based on the size of some of the numbering (not a hard if you sit at a desk all day and just wear it because it looks great)

Giant until the band comes off or it's dark
I have had 3 of these watches over the years, but I finaly gave up on them. I Dear one the look, but they have 3 big drawbacks, First off, no light. The glow paint on the watch is pretty dim. Second, it goes through batteries bonny quick. When the battery gets low the hands stop moving but the digital part still works. First heretofore that happened I thought the watch had malfunctioned. Third, the band comes off the watch! The pin that holds it on isn't brawny enough. That is why my last one is on the bottom of the river right now.
Clever value in a big watch!
I accede to with the other reviewer who said you would need to find a vintage dive watch to find one this big. The watch has a nice, monumental casing and an easy-to-read face for those of us who have a hard time seeing things that are draw near. I've had mine for a month now and it has not lost a second. The digital display is a little small, but I don't use it much anyway and will probably only do so on the rare grounds that I need to set an alarm. For the price, you can't beat this watch. It is water resistant and appears to be a veritable workhorse though replacing the band may be a challenge each year (also mentioned by another reviewer). For what it does, this mind is better and cheaper than anything out there.
have been wearing this for years...
This prototype has been out for a long time. I like the look of the black more then the white or gold. The reason the skinned for loses one star is because the band. It looks great, but the rubber will wear out and break in about a year. The replacement combination that Casio offers looks close the orginal, but not exactly the same. I lost one of these, and another was stolen. So the fact that I am on my third is a asseveration to how much I love this watch. I have been wearing it since about 1993.

    Entire Good - Some Complaints
Pros: This skinned for is quite accurate. I've never had to make any adjustments to it and have been wearing it for nearly two years. Still on the first battery. This chaperon is also incredibly rugged. I am an active, active outdoor adventurer and have ABUSED this watch. It's never once asked me to adeptness up on it; it just keeps telling me the time. This includes a couple SCUBA dives.Cons: The pale only lights the small digital display at the bottom of the watch. If, like me, you keep the digital display on the girlfriend mode, the night light won't help you much. I don't believe this watch has ever leaked, but if the temperature is chilly, this watch fogs up. And finally, if the time is between 25 past the hour and 35 former the hour, don't even think about being able to read the digital display at the bottom; the minute hand WILL obscure your scrutinize.Overall this is a great, rugged watch for the price.
    Actual Functional Value...Nicely Styled
What's not to like about a seventy dollar waterproof, shockproof multi-r watch that also looks good. It's a seriously rugged-looking watch but very light bias. An inset digital screen is controlled by a mode button that advances through the date, digital rhythm, alarm time, stopwatch, and second time zone functions. The screen can be backlit in a overconfident (really) blue light for night viewing. The rectangular screen is a bit small and not very likely read with these baby boomer eyes in certain offlit situations. It is also difficult to know the screen when the analog minute hand sweeps across the screen through the 4 to 8 hour period. I'd pay another ten bucks to see this shelter replicated on the top of the watch face (between 10 and 2 o'clock)to avoid this. No big deal. Hey, it's only seventy bucks!
Adjusting analog chance -- not user friendly
Very cordial watch in terms of appearance, accuracy, and reliability. The analog hands feature is weighty, in that it combines the accuracy of a digital movement with a display that can easily be read without glasses (massive for us increasingly-senior citizens). BUT -- adjusting the time display (analog hands) is a vital pain, at daylight savings time. The hands can ONLY be advanced in the forward direction. So lay out on spending a good while slowly rotating the movement through a full 12 hours when you need to zip the hands only ONE hour back. The upside is that the movement is accurate enough that you should not need to adjust the hands, other than at DST changeovers.

    Mine justifiable died
After about seven years of marked service, my wrist now bears a dead AMW320D (great name, eh, really trips off the tongue). I went in for my third freestyle replacement and the jeweler told me that corrosion had eaten away at the movement. The first time I replaced the battery-operated I learned that the seal had to be broken and the watch might no longer resist water. The soft rubbery sham strap died long ago, replaced by a superior twist-o-flex-style metal wrist orchestra. Now you might think I'm dissatisfied. But I intend to order another the minute (or so -- I don't have a working watch) I polish off kill writing this review. Why? It has been a great watch. Analog plus digital gives me carefree-to-read intuitive time checking, along with all the bells and whistles of silicon: multiple times, tocsin, stop watch, and calendar. The outer ring on the face lets me rotate the "north" pointer to a future time, say 45 minutes from now, and I know time's up when the minute hand gets there. (I have...
    Largest of both watch worlds
This Oceanic Gear has become one of my favorite watches of all time. And take this from an enthousiastic collector who's tried out quite a few watches. If you're like me, you might like to alternate at times between analog and digital watches. I find myself using an analog note about 60% of the time because they look great and it's easy to see how much time you've got left. On the other hand, digitals get about 40% of my wrist all together, especially when I'm in a casual, sport, or technical mode.Well, here's a watch that's the best of both worlds. With this Aquatic Gear, Casio has a real classic "diver" watch both in form and function. In function, this gaze at has all the classical functions I like in in the digital line-up: stopwatch, alarm, hourly sound the horn, and date. The digital time and dual time has come in handy, especially touring. In fact, with the analog hands, you can have three time zones on your watch at once. Also, it is easy to synchronize the...
    Men's Casio Varied Watch
This is my third secure of this same watch in the past ten years. I am very hard on watches and beat the heck out of them. I keep forgetting to remove them when working on Airplanes and car engines etc. I dropped one and the second hand fell off which jammed the works. The other two still work but look like heck. Bands are lousey and disavow in short order so get a new band to replace it and keep it handy. Price from Target was $20 cheaper than Wally period and that included shipping. Some complain of not getting a good seal when replacing the battery and that will countenance moisture into the watch and fog up the crystal. If you are VERY carefull and use the tinniest bit of vasoline to hold the O-ring in squelch when reinstalling the back it will seal just fine. Also, don't open it up on a wet and humid day.

    devoted watch
I owned a separate version of this watch for close to ten years and loved it. This version fixed one of my two complaints. You'll see the same look after, with gold, black or white faces and a black band. That black band requests replacing every two to three years - it'll basically fall apart. The stainless steel band fixes that emotionally upset. The other thing you'll also find on just about every review of this or any other version of this watch, is that there is no light. Seems like an easy fix on Casio's part, but indubitably it wasn't that big a deal, because I bought a new one. They used to just make the gold face, and somewhere along the way, they made it rather orange, so I was nice-looking stoked to see a few new choices this time around. For the price, I can't imagine a better watch - okay possibly the same thing but with a light.
    A filling watch to own.
This guard pleases in so many ways, it's hard to imagine wanting anything else. It's big, it's beautiful and it's very impressive on the wrist. Although it's a prominently watch, (46mm wide without crown), it wears very comfortably and it's 11mm height slides without a hitch under the cuff of a long sleeve shirt. Fitting it to my 7 1/2 inch wrist required the removing of two links from the bracelet. Having both digital and analog readouts is a great feature. This is not a serious plunge watch as evidenced by the bi-directional bezel and non-screwdown crown but it still feels rugged enough to bear up in most outdoor activities. The attractive blue dial changes color depending on what kind-hearted of light you're in and the overall appearance gives the impression of a much more expensive timepiece. On most inexpensive quartz watches, the subordinate hands never line up with the marks on the dial and maybe I just got lucky but the second round on my example nails the tick marks on the dial dead center every time. I own...

Because of you Casio, you bit all competitors. Good looking watch, 3 time zones (if you setup strength digital time different from arrow's time), alarm, calendar, stop mind. What else you can get for $64? Once fill up gas tank. I gave 5 stars, even everyone complained about light. Remember light takes too much mobile energy.I still think how to use this compass bezel without compass arrow? May be it is for mariners? Anyway it is 5 stars offshoot. And of course, thanks Amazon!
