Casio Men's G100-1BV G-Shock Classic Ana-Digi Watch
Details
DescriptionThe obviously designed Casio G-Shock Classic analog-digital watch for men offers jolt resistance that's great for your most vigorous sporting activities as well as anti-magnetic properties. The strong round black watch case measures 47mm wide (1.85 inches), and it's matched to a agreeable black resin sports strap. Timekeeping features include a 1/100-more recent stopwatch with a 24-hour capacity and elapsed time mode, dual period for tracking a second time zone, daily alarm, and 12/24-hour formats. Other features tabulate an Auto Calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2039), ±15-second accuracy per month, Luminosity backlighting, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--which will stand up to the rigors of recreational scuba headlong.Note: Though this watch is designed to withstand exposure to magnetic force, you should still keep it away from machinery and appliances that inspire a strong magnetic field. Customer ReviewsBlanket Good - Some ComplaintsPros: This guard against is quite accurate. I've never had to make any adjustments to it and have been wearing it for nearly two years. Still on the first battery. This mind is also incredibly rugged. I am an active, active outdoor adventurer and have ABUSED this watch. It's never once asked me to appease up on it; it just keeps telling me the time. This includes a couple SCUBA dives.Cons: The firelight only lights the small digital display at the bottom of the watch. If, like me, you keep the digital display on the engagement mode, the night light won't help you much. I don't believe this watch has ever leaked, but if the temperature is detached, this watch fogs up. And finally, if the time is between 25 past the hour and 35 lifestyle the hour, don't even think about being able to read the digital display at the bottom; the minute hand WILL obscure your perspective.Overall this is a great, rugged watch for the price. Kindly Functional Value...Nicely Styled What's not to like about a seventy dollar waterproof, shockproof multi-aim watch that also looks good. It's a seriously rugged-looking watch but very light superiority. An inset digital screen is controlled by a mode button that advances through the date, digital once upon a time, alarm time, stopwatch, and second time zone functions. The screen can be backlit in a level-headed (really) blue light for night viewing. The rectangular screen is a bit small and not without difficulty read with these baby boomer eyes in certain offlit situations. It is also difficult to decipher the screen when the analog minute hand sweeps across the screen through the 4 to 8 hour period. I'd pay another ten bucks to see this shelter replicated on the top of the watch face (between 10 and 2 o'clock)to avoid this. No big deal. Hey, it's only seventy bucks! Adjusting analog unceasingly a once -- not user friendly Very delightful watch in terms of appearance, accuracy, and reliability. The analog hands feature is immense, in that it combines the accuracy of a digital movement with a display that can easily be read without glasses (countless for us increasingly-senior citizens). BUT -- adjusting the time display (analog hands) is a notable pain, at daylight savings time. The hands can ONLY be advanced in the forward direction. So blueprint on spending a good while slowly rotating the movement through a full 12 hours when you need to accommodate oneself to the hands only ONE hour back. The upside is that the movement is accurate enough that you should not need to adjust the hands, other than at DST changeovers.

Customer ReviewsUnmatched Features Make this a Keeper, Great Speech TimerI have a Rolex Unfailing Datejust and a couple of Seikos. I have been wearing one of these Timex watches for two years. Why? The EasySet or Turn and Influence Alarm is the most useful feature I have ever had on my wrist. As far as I can tell it is unique. Here is how it works. There are two rotating bezels Internal the dial; one with a red pointer (for the hour) and one with a black pointer (for the minutes). Your third bezel is the big rotating OUTER bezel that does all the toil.Let's pretend you just called someone and got a busy signal. You don't want to forget to call back, so you reach down, seize the outer bezel, as you spin the outer bezel the inner bezels/dials originate to spin. In an instant you move the minute (black) pointer to ten minutes ahead of the current span. You let go of the outer bezel and pull the second crown (the one at four o'clock) all the way out (two clicks). You are done! In the every so often it took you to read the first six letter of this paragraph you... Enjoyably Men's Watch + Where to get additional watch band I purchased this Timex great ago off Amazon and found it to be a very nice watch. It is very heavy and has a good feel to it. The alarm feature is very adept. Some people complain that it is hard to set but the directions are on the back of the watch and after a few tries, it is very easy to do.Another great spot is the Indiglo light feature. When camping or when the electricity is out, it can come in very handy.TO GET ANOTHER WATCHBAND: I thought that getting a watchband for the T47902 would be a pull oneself together. A quick Google search and I thought I would find numerous places to order it. I was completely askew. I could not find this anywhere. As a last resort, I called Timex directly and was pleasantly surprised to find the leather replacement tie available for $10 including shipping. Just call 1-800-448-4639 and press "1" for English and then operate for customer service and to speak to a real person. Very simple. (this was updated from previously when you had to hit... A nice watch The take heed of is nice and it looks good - high-quality leather band, good fluorescence, etc. It's somewhat big and heavy, though, so look elsewhere if that's a problem for you.

Customer ReviewsWith the exception of everyday watch!I exceedingly enjoy this watch and I agree with all of the pro's of the other reviewers. It's well built, solid, and wears well everyday. I'm almost always pretty abusive with my watches (drops, scrapes, salt water, sweat, and the gym) and I have intentionally punished this scrutinize to see if it lives up to all the hype. So far, no scratches on the band or mineral face. With some soap and water, this feature cleans up quickly and looks new again.Although, I don't know about the negative review about the LCD being dim. I haven't had a problem thus far and if using the backlight, the LCD is unmistakeable in all lighting conditions (pitch black or blindingly bright). And an additional plus, my girlfriend loves the factors that it has a very smooth surface and well rounded edges. She used to complain about how my watch band would unprepared her when we held hands and such, so this is something to consider if you have the same problem. Not a complaint yet!Love this watch,... Elucidate, rugged and inexpensive I have another GShock inspect at home - all digital - and it's held up very well (even the band) throughout its past 5 years of wear. I wish I could say the same about my Timex Ironman look for (see my other reviews to read about it). The Ironman's band split at the buckle hole I use daily. Timex bands verge to specifically fit only certain Timex watches - they're not interchangeable and they're difficult to find replacements for. This GShock represents my new "enduring watch" choice after a lot of online browsing and research. The Pros:This new one is from Casio GShock's "Terrace Rider" series. To drive home the point (no pun intended), the band has a way-cool sap tread appearance to it. Overall, I'm happy with the watch. It's light-weight and doesn't look bad on my smallish wrist. I can't forecast you how well it actually keeps time but my experience with Casio watches has been very good with that respect. There's no stem to do a bunk out and turn to adjust the analog hands -... Worked for me in Baghdad, Kalsu, Babil, and Hillah! bought it formation Amazon through USPS in February of 2006 from Baghdad, Iraq. Wore it the whole year in Baghdad as well as in compbat operations in Babil Dependancy. Excellent performance. Only problem was that my Iraqi counterparts always wanted to trade their watch for mine....

Customer ReviewsToughest on the qui vive for I've ever ownedI've had this attend almost 5 years now, so I thought I should sit down and write a quick review of it. I'm the kind of person that tends to cut off a lot of watches, so it's amazing to me that this watch has lasted this long at all - although the buttons and part of the front bezel have been beat up pretty solid.First, the things I really like about this watch are:1) Because it sets itself off of the atomic clock in Denver every vespers all the time, it is completely accurate - the longer I wear it, the more I find myself setting all the other clocks I use by this watch. As a reference, I animate in Austin, TX and have never had a problem getting a signal - it also picked up the change in daylight savings when congress definite it needed to change the dates (thanks to the atomic clock).2) The solar power is also a out-and-out feature, I've found that it sits on full power from about March through November each year. Once the days get noticeably shorter, it tends to liquidate on the second... It's very big and lambent, and does it all I surveyed great field of digital choices before getting the watch a month ago, and I'm well satisfied. Most digital watches (as opposed to analog with hour and summary hands) are ugly, IMO, so my surveying has mainly been frustrating. I found a nice line of digital Casio Edifices, with big digits and glimmering glitzy faces, which served for a while, but has apparently been discontinued a year or two ago, and my last one quit working two months ago.I bought this to, grimacing at the price, just because it wasn't particularly ugly and had big digits, but it exceeded my sheer expectations. The manual was a bit of a slog - it took about 20 minutes to read, but well worth it.The features are distinguished - about 5 alarms, one of which can be set for snooze alarms, the expected stop watch, easy access to Greenwich Meridian Once upon a time, markers for noting times, a backlight, waterproof enough for scuba diving (not that I dive). The remarkable features include... Not Bring to perfection, But Close I bought my Casio MTG900DA-8V over four years ago, and I was surprised to find it still being produced and sold by Casio as I browsed Amazon's awake to selection.Overall, I think it is a great timepiece, and I have never regretted buying mine. But, you will notice that I only gave it four stars, because like anything made by man, it isn't gifted. Here's the scoop:Pro's1. Superb accuracy. I live near Atlanta, Georgia, which is probably attached to the limit of this watch's radio reception range. But even here, my watch will sync with the atomic while station over 99% of the time. But as another reviewer said, you will probably have to experiment with locations within your domicile where you leave the watch for its overnight radio sync process.2. Not just incredible-resistant, this thing is waterproof. I have worn mine while doing all kinds of nasty chores, including mowing, weeding and cognate dirty jobs. And when I get in the shower afterward, I just... |
