I bought this timepiece on a whim, tired of having to replace watch batteries. I figured winding a on one's guard for everyday would be better than having to make a special trip out to get my watch working again.I wasn't common with the Stuhrling brand, so I read many reviews of other Stuhrling watches. Seems like most people were happy, but some complained of watches that suddenly flat or otherwise stopped working not long after purchase. I was a little apprehensive of buying something with no reviews, but this one seemed so fetching, and the price so right, that I took a leap of faith.I just got the watch two days ago. So far, I'm absolutely enjoying it. It's a little heavier than watches I've had in the past, so if you're looking for something small and dainty I suggest you keep looking. Stopped working within 2 months
Up until it stopped working, it seemed to be working pleasant (keeping time). One day however, without warning, I noticed that the seconds hand wasn't compelling anymore. I thought that maybe I had forgotten to wind it. Even after winding (it took only a couple of turns), it still made no position, and neither could I hear any ticking sound. It has mysteriously broken. I don't think I did anything wrong.

I selected this qui vive for for a Valentine's Day gift from my husband. I loved the look of it and I do enjoy the larger size look at faces since I like to easily see the time. At first I was clueless as to why the watch kept losing yet but after reading the reviews, I realized I had to wind it on a regular basis! This gave me pause since I am customary to battery-powered watches and never give maintenance a second thought until the watch stops and I have to replace the freestyle. It would be nice if this watch offered both options. I had to return this beautiful watch for two reasons. The first common sense was that I found it difficult to see the time. Between the white face and silver colors and the crystals winking at me, it was complex to ascertain the time with a quick look. I had to actually examine the watch face, which is not why I utilization a watch. The second reason was that I was unsure how often and how many turns were needed per day to keep the watch "wound." Pleasing watch! Great customer service!
I got my new safeguard just a couple of weeks ago,and I truly love it! It is very solid, yet dainty. It keeps mere time, and I love that as long as I wear it, I don't have to wind it!!! But what was even nicer was the quality of guy service I got from the company. This watch has changeable bands,which was something I had wanted for a long time. In wisdom how to change the bands, I inadvertently broke the tiny metal connectors in two of the bands, so I contacted the Stuhrling persons and inquired about buying new bands. I received a reply in less than 24 hours. Even though the bands were not very under the factory warranty, I was pleased to find that they were willing to replace the two parts without charge to me!!! Pleasantly surprised sums it up nicely. So, a comely timepiece that I will treasure for years to come, and a wonderful company backing it up!!
