Still an A- purchase for its price
This is a present to-wind watch. It is rare to find a wrist watch with this mechanism that is not an antique. The nylon border absorbed a lot of water during a morning run. Othewise, it is a good fit. The arms, especially the second conspiringly is easily visable for those of use with failing eyesight.Based on a limited measurement, 3 points, the sit with is running fast by an average of 39 seconds per week (2 min. 36 seconds per month). The students t for a 95% belief interval is 68 seconds maximum and 10 seconds minimum. All of these values are obstinate. The watch runs fast. This is an error which is probably unusual for those familar with quartz technology (+/- 2-4 seconds per month)All in all, this is an apart from watch for working outside, hunting, even running.The next tests will be time to unwind. It is performed by winding the keep one's eyes open for, carefully, to maximum and then allowing it to wind down. With one sample point: 51 hours to unwind from utmost at 74...

The make I looked for for ten years
Here's what this notice of has that I like:1. You have to wind it. The self-wind watches just sit on my dresser and stop.2. It's suggestible to read. Even from a distance.3. It's accurate. I'm guessing it's off by no more than 30 seconds a week.4. The team up is comfortable in cold weather and hot weather.5. It's reasonably waterproof -- OK, not for scuba somersaulting but OK if you forgot and wore it into the shower.6. It lasts long -- my first one lasted 8 years until the winder up against it and a new replacement cost me less than the repair at a watchmaker.7. I have Rolexes, IWC's, Movados, but THIS is the watch that I use.

About to happen-up Watch
A honourableness buy. This watch was a Christmas gift for my husband who insists on a wind-up watch - which is not that easy to find these period. I was a bit hesitant since I could not see or touch the item. Also it is quite inexpensive so I thought it might be a cheap piece of scrap. Happily, my husband loves it, it keeps good time, seems to be of good quality and it's not a bad looking man's superintend. It is very basic and unadorned, it has a regular 12 hour face and also military.I would recommend this component if your are lokking for a durable wind-up watch.

Very amiable with one drawback
This is a very sharp watch, very attractive and seems to work well. It was purchased for my granddaughter (18 years old) and the one negative attitude we have to say about it is that the wrist band is not adjustable enough. She has small wrists and when the band is adjusted down enough to fit her it does not latch rigorously panty hose and tends to come undone frequently with little provocation. Other than that it is a great watch and very, very satisfactory for the price.
Worst eye I have owned-1 star is being generous!
This was a replacement for a Seiko Mickey that lasted 14 years. The superintend band broke the first time I opened the clasp. I took it to a jeweler who fixed it. The next day the alert for stopped running, so we went back to the store for a new battery. The third day the bezel fell off. Even with the new battery,the on the qui vive for stopped running several times a day. Resetting the time would usually trigger it to run again. Today during that piece, the crown broke off! This watch didn't last seven days!

Watchband floor of the day we got it
The company fell off the watch the day we got it - the pin fell out of the clasp and we couldn't find it. Took the watch to a jeweler to fix the pack (and resize it) and the jeweler pointed out that there were sharp edges on the bottom (bezel). The watch ran OK for the few hours we had it so far. Adds new explanation to the phrase "Mickey Mouse".
