Casio Men's G100-1BV G-Shock Classic Ana-Digi Watch
Details
DescriptionThe unreservedly designed Casio G-Shock Classic analog-digital watch for men offers shock guerillas that's great for your most vigorous sporting activities as well as anti-magnetic properties. The durable encircle complete black watch case measures 47mm wide (1.85 inches), and it's matched to a easy black resin sports strap. Timekeeping features include a 1/100-relocate stopwatch with a 24-hour capacity and elapsed time mode, dual every so often old-fashioned for tracking a second time zone, daily alarm, and 12/24-hour formats. Other features encompass an Auto Calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2039), ±15-second accuracy per month, Light backlighting, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--which will stand up to the rigors of recreational scuba head-over-heels.Note: Though this watch is designed to withstand exposure to magnetic force, you should still keep it away from machinery and appliances that initiate a strong magnetic field. Customer ReviewsAll-embracing Good - Some ComplaintsPros: This guard is quite accurate. I've never had to make any adjustments to it and have been wearing it for nearly two years. Still on the first battery. This timepiece is also incredibly rugged. I am an active, active outdoor adventurer and have ABUSED this watch. It's never once asked me to naturalness up on it; it just keeps telling me the time. This includes a couple SCUBA dives.Cons: The pounce only lights the small digital display at the bottom of the watch. If, like me, you keep the digital display on the appointment mode, the night light won't help you much. I don't believe this watch has ever leaked, but if the temperature is cold-hearted, this watch fogs up. And finally, if the time is between 25 past the hour and 35 finished the hour, don't even think about being able to read the digital display at the bottom; the minute hand WILL complex your view.Overall this is a great, rugged watch for the price. Passable Functional Value...Nicely Styled What's not to like about a seventy dollar waterproof, shockproof multi-r watch that also looks good. It's a seriously rugged-looking watch but very light incline. An inset digital screen is controlled by a mode button that advances through the date, digital occasion, alarm time, stopwatch, and second time zone functions. The screen can be backlit in a abate (really) blue light for night viewing. The rectangular screen is a bit small and not beyond read with these baby boomer eyes in certain offlit situations. It is also difficult to conclude from the screen when the analog minute hand sweeps across the screen through the 4 to 8 hour period. I'd pay another ten bucks to see this select replicated on the top of the watch face (between 10 and 2 o'clock)to avoid this. No big deal. Hey, it's only seventy bucks! Adjusting analog dated -- not user friendly Very commendable watch in terms of appearance, accuracy, and reliability. The analog hands feature is horrible, in that it combines the accuracy of a digital movement with a display that can easily be read without glasses (adroit for us increasingly-senior citizens). BUT -- adjusting the time display (analog hands) is a dominating pain, at daylight savings time. The hands can ONLY be advanced in the forward direction. So script on spending a good while slowly rotating the movement through a full 12 hours when you need to harmonize the hands only ONE hour back. The upside is that the movement is accurate enough that you should not need to adjust the hands, other than at DST changeovers.

It is water resistant to 660 feet.![]()
Customer ReviewsA few observations for a impending purchaserHaving owned the GW500AJP-1AV for a week, here are my thoughts on some of the points raised by the reviewers of this and other G-Unsettle models:1. In my opinion, concerns about the thickness of the watch have been overstated. Certainly, if slimness is an *prominent* criterion for you, this isn't your watch. But you'll have no trouble fitting it under your shirt cuff. [Though the manual cautions that doing so will limit the solar function.] Even my ridiculously slender wrists support it - physically and (I hope) esthetically - without snag.2. The G-Shock models are advertised as rugged. I'm not about to use mine as a hockey puck to put that to the test. But it indisputably *feels* sturdy. [The thickness helps here.] And from what I've read about them elsewhere, they do shrug off a considerable amount of punishment.3. Everyone's happening with receiving the timekeeping signal from Fort Collins will vary depending on the particulars of their... Passionate but thick I first bought a Casio G-Horrify type watch back in about '82, a DW-1000, actually a precursor to the G-Shock. Still works excellent to this day, though I've replaced the battery twice and replaced the resin band with a metal one. This watch has served me well over the years from hiking to scuba head-over-heels. So I decided it was time to upgrade to the latest technology - a solar powered G-Shock with "infinitesimal" timekeeping. This new watch performs great so far. It synchronizes to the Fort Collins signal every darkness without problems. I live roughly 700 miles from the transmitter. In the good old days I acclimatized to dial in the time signal on a shortwave radio to synchronize my watches. It's great to have a watch I can lose about setting.I was a little concerned before I bought this watch that Casio was relying on the time sync and the lookout might not be accurate without it. This is important to me because I frequently travel internationally. Not a problem. My watch had last been... Run for it sure you have a backup This is an admirable watch. It is virtually indestructible, feeds on sunlight, and "phones home." The common criticisms of this and its minute G-Shock siblings are that they are cumbersome and ugly. Admittedly, it is not the slimmest, sleekest watch in the epoch. And no, it isn't the most elegant either. And clearly, style and comfort do indeed enter into the equation when you are shopping for a watch. But this is not a shape watch, nor was it ever meant to be one. It is a functional one. You might wear a sleek, beautiful Movado watch to the opera, but you are not favourite to subject such a watch to all the stresses and strains of an active lifestyle. This watch will take whatever you can throw at it and then some, and it will be scrupulous to the atomic second. So, it is a very different kind of watch from a stylish Movado. My Movado sits sedately in the darkness of my jewelry cabinet most of the time; it is "too good" to wear every day.I have worn my atomic G-Disturb for over...
Casio Men's DW5600E-1V G-Shock Classic Digital Watch
Details

The durable rectangular black watch case provision 45mm wide (1.77 inches), and it's matched to a comfortable black resin sports strap. It includes a stopwatch role that can measure events down to 1/100 of a second for the first 60 minutes (and down to 1 second from 60 minutes to 24 hours), and it offers elapsed and split even so modes, and 1st-2nd place times. It also has a countdown timer with a 24-hour range. Other timekeeping features take in a multi-function alarm, hourly time signal (which can be turned off), and 12/24-hour formats. This timepiece also features an Coupй Calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2039), ±15-second accuracy per month, Afterglow backlighting, and O resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--which will stand up to the rigors of recreational scuba somersaulting.Customer ReviewsMy individual perfect watchThis 5600 has everything I penury, and nothing I don't:- It tells you the time, date, and day of the week at a glance.- It has 1 alarm (not 5 like many other G-Shocks -- too fidly).- A countdown timer (with the popular time shown in the upper box).- A stopwatch (again, time is still shown). That's it. If you after fancy "features" like inaccurate temperature readings, barometric pressure graph which gets indistinct by temperature and altitude, 19 alarms, and world time in 7,000 cities around the incredible -- look elsewhere! This watch does exactly what a wristwatch should, which in my opinion is tell the just the same from time to time, and take an absolute beating. I don't particularly want to stand in public pressing 15 buttons on my contemplate, just to set a quick alarm to remind me of something. This 5600 keeps everything relatively simple (certainly go through the manual when you first get it). (I started collecting G-Shocks; they have all since been given away/sold... But Watch I have owned the Casio DW-5600E G-Eye-opener Classic Watch for the past 5 or more years now. I've worn it every day in every condition from mountain climbing to river rafting to scuba pitching to business boardrooms and it has always functioned perfectly. It seems at home in every situation. I rely on the easy to use features such as the stopwatch, countdown timer and whistle. It is the only travel alarm I take on trips and it has never failed me yet. My watch gains about 1 minute per month, so every 3 months or so I set it back to keep the in the good old days b simultaneously as accurate as possible. I highly recommend this watch. Unbelievably Sturdy I bought one of the advanced G-Shocks in the 1980's... and it lasted through 2006 -- over 20 years. The plastic outer crate finally started to deteriorate... and oh yeah I tore or lost the strap retaining ring about 10 years ago (no big deal just put on a tie wrap and kept on wearing the watch). To put this in background, I use my sport watches for sailing, boating, diving and snorkeling (usually in salt water) ...and most other watches have lasted only 2-3 years. The stunning thing is that I never replaced the battery on this original Casio G-Shock -- it just kept working until the jacket finally went.Only slight disadvantage for sailing races it that it doesn't have a synch memorable part for interim starting signals. But other than that all the functionality that you really use is there *and* you don't have to read the instruction manual to numeral out the watch... user interface and buttons are straightforward and obvious.Classic bulletproof play watch --...

Details
DescriptionG-Upset introduces a brand new mirror metallic series for the season.Customer ReviewsFantabulous WatchWhat can I say it's a prominent watch, looks amazing, and the price on here is what it should be if not cheaper rather then paying double on eBay because some celeb's have been wearing this new exemplar. big looking watch! Wow! I own several G-Nauseate watches and this one beats em all! Great looking watch, numbers are easy to read and I honestly be partial to it over my more expensive dress watches. Worth the $100 or so for sure! Not recommended for regularly wear! IT's not recommended for mundane use because the band gets dirty and the end of the band gotten a bit discolored. This watch is POLISHED with some tolerant of clear design on the band, looks great and unique, a bit pricy for 6900 beau id but it's alright.cool to wear and looks really good.

I wore it non-stop through military training, in mud, in snow, surfing, hot desert climates, a deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan. I distorted the battery all but once. It was fantastic and never failed me. It got stolen in Afghanistan, unfortunately. I am defintely buying the same one again. The only con - the horde started peeling its shiny cover after about 3 years, but when I removed it all, it revealed a nice matte get rid of. Rapture this watch I'm in the open-handedly a lot and needed a watch that was waterproof and this one is perfect. It is a little bulky, but I don't think it's too big and I have a rather small wrist. I rapture the animals that displays at the day when the 30 seconds rolls around...that's just an added bonus. Material Watch for Fitness and Fashion The Baby Gs are chic but I only heard of them when I was researching a watch to use during workouts. It's easy to access the various functions once you get the grip of it. The instructions booklet is generic so I had to guess sometimes how to do things.Things I like: I'm very happy about the countdown, stopwatch and era functions. The grey color is neutral and unobtrusive so I will wear this watch as my regular watchman on the alert for excepting dressy occasions. And the counters, day, dates, and years are great functions. I inamorata that it's water resistant to 660 feet and shock resistant too. I'm really hard on watches so the regard this one might actually last a while thrills me to no end. What I don't like: I wish this watch came in even more colors than it does. I didn't Non-Standard real find a color that I loved, loved, loved. I wish this watch came in a clear red, not a authentic one or that the solid black was more readily available. So no five stars, on looks alone. The MSRP... |
