A gratifyingly-looking watch -- I like the dual function and the moon dial and temperature, even if the leaping fish are overkill
I like low-priced sports watches. I can't bring myself to wear a watch to impress, and can't imagine wanting a fancy (and high-priced) one. I'm like my dad: when it comes to watches I prefer function to form. I like the digital time, the digital timer and the stopwatch. Opposite from my dad, however, who for several years (to my mother's chagrin) wore a calculator watch everywhere he went (God rest his woman, I loved the man), I do like it to look good. I needed a new watch, and wanted to get one that had both a digital readout and hands. I'm not definite why such watches even exist, but I think they look good, and I'm really happy about this watch. I think it looks personal property on me, and fits well (and I'm a very tall guy, with big wrists) and it has all the functions I could ever want in a watch (timer, alarm and stopwatch, etc.) gain a few more (the compass dial is a fake, though, and this won't give you directions). It reads temperature (though for that it's only an accurate...
    No tangible complaints
Bought this at the same outdated as a Casio Databank DB35H model. I like this AQW101 "fishing" watch better and will be using it. Merely wish it had the 5 alarms like the databank models... Pros: 1) Visage is much easier to read than the DB35H. 2) The analog hands are nice to have. I find myself glacing at those and being able to announce them quicker than the digital display at times. 3) The moon and temperature things are delicate novelty items :-) 4) The buttons are easy to work with and so far, no problems with them getting hit by disaster. 5) The overall style and finish are excellent, especially for the price. 6) The ensemble is good quality (better than on the cheaper DB35H). Cons: None really, but if pressed: 1) Its a bit on the big side. Not a trouble unless you're "small boned" - and even then, with the band, it conforms well to the wrist. 2) The temperature ascertainment is modified by your body heat (about +10F)...
    Spruce up features but...
My inclination being an analog style watch I struggled to find something that was a decent multifunction watch and without spending a prosperity. I give this 3 stars for the features it has, expecially the tide, moon phase, and temp; which is what interested me the most. Tide property is going to be rough since it is based on setting a lat / long for whatever area you set it to and is something I don't want to mess around with as some of the ship launches I use in the ocean are sometimes unusable at low tide. Temp feature though the concept is unsociable, does not really work. On your wrist it is going to be a varying tempeture based on your thickness head and where you are located (in the sun, with wind, in rain, etc). Can't commennt too much on the moon phase or suggested fishing times as I sadly have not been able to go out much to confirm or reject this. :( Neat though. The other features fill the watch up with lots of ancillary effort to...

    Gigantic Watch!
This is the 4th or 5th of in this series that I've owned. This one allows for multiple interval timing. Fantastic! I 'did' the Chicago marathon this gone and forgotten fall. The group that I train with runs for 3 minutes and then walks for 2 minutes on all of our training runs. This qui vive for alternates these intervals, sounding an alarm after each! The buttons are intuitive, making it easy to use even with rather a few features. The silver and black color combo has held up much better another black and metallic country-like Timex watch from another line did (The metallic green on the watch face scraped off). The team up has openings which is nice (your wrist doesn't get sweaty). Good value.
Don't buy it unless you call for a disposable watch
I've uploaded several photos so you can see for yourself why I gave this on the lookout for only 1 star. Timex Ironman are my favorite watches, and I have owned several over the years (currently I own the Timex Ironman 30 Lap and it's consummate -- no problems with it whatsoever). But this one ... such a disappointment and ONLY because the resin strap/band is a sliver of junk and the 'paint job' on face wore off almost immediately. The timepiece itself is fantastic. No problems there, but after the slight silver paint wore off, the little loop that prevents the excess band from infectious on your clothing split and fell off (not a piece you can find & replace). Then the band started cracking in many spaces and the problem is not just aesthetic. Eventually it's going to fall apart completely and I won't be proficient to wear it again. The band is not replaceable. Such a bummer. A great watch but the poor quality border ruins it. BTW - I've owned this watch for 1-2 years and wear it constantly, including in the...
Friendly Watch - couple of issues
The Women's Ironman Triathlon alert for is a good watch. It works well keeping track of my laps and timing. There are 2 major issues with this care for for me. One, the band is not really comfortable. It is made of some kind of rubbery material that makes my wrist agonize! Also, the band is difficult to fasten because of the rather stiff nature of the material. The end of the band wants to keep "popping up" and you have to turn sure to slide the loop over it each time. This is an inconvience when all you want to do is get on the track and get moving. Topic #2 is the indiglow factor. When I push the indiglow to see the time in the dark, the numbers are illuminated but they are illuminated in such a way that makes them demanding to see! I was familiar with a Timex watch that would illuminate the face of the watch - literally flood it with lissom so that you could easily see and read the information. I was very disappointed with this feature of the watch...

    Superior backup watch
This observant of looks good and is easy to set up. The use of lcd's as a second hand is very clever. The drawback with this is that they are very hard to study even in bright light. I would recommend that the maker change the color of the lcd's for the second hand or use another method to make them readable. Overall, for the price, this watch has functions and looks that make it a extensive buy.
    Another A- Casio product
With this many features and at such a low value, this watch stands out in the crowd. At one glance you can view analog and digital interval down to the second, day of the week, day of the month, and month. 4 button controls for settings and permission to other features such as stop watch, timer, alarm, etc. The plastic/rubber band isn't exceptionally fancy but it's waterproof and very functional as well as comfortable and still decent looking. I like the stainless stiffen bezel and hard crystal because I'm physically hard on watches. The watch is also attractive ( I get good wishes on it ). Some reviewers said that it's difficult to see the silver hands against the white background. Under doubtless lighting conditions ( such as outdoors in the bright sunlight ) that's true, but tilting the watch slenderize reveals the hands. This could be improved by Casio, but it's no show stopper for me. One thing I'd add to it is a mechanical...
Look is not to be trusted
the watch looks okay from the web folio. when received the product it looks cheap, the hour and minute hands blocking the digital parade. The watch is bigger then it looks.

    Significant watch!
Grand watch with many great features. I love the size of the digital layout and the metal tie is durable. To resize the band, push out the pins from the side that looks like screws. Pros: Unerring, good looking, multiple alarms, timer, and stop-watch. Cons: Metal confederate latch sometimes deforms, making it hard to latch. You have to bend it a certain way to make it drudgery. The analog hands sometimes get out of sync with the digital time. You can fix that easily, but annoying sometimes. Lastly, at evening you can't use the watch features. There is a light, but it occupies a button used for setting alarms and such. So if you are stage set your alarm, you can't see the display. Timex has a night feature that, once enabled, turns the light on with every knob press. My former watch had it and it was a very handy feature. Great for the price.
    Kind watch but disappointed
I was looking for a eye with both analog and digital outputs. I found this one that fit the bill. It wasn't very expensive so if it bit the dust at work I wouldn't erase too much. The only problem I found was the dial window. It's plastic. Soft plastic. Unfortunaly only a week after buying the await I already had several scratches on the face that made it more difficult to see the face. If the dial window was more resilient I would be very happy with the observe and give it 4 or 5 stars but as it stands it gets a 2... barely.
Endorse impression: Great watch for the price
I destroyed my casio edifice watch and decided to get this watch since it had all of the features that I needed (time zones, apprehension, display date/day, etc.). The watch arrived the other day and so I thought that I would contribute my initial thoughts since I found the other reviews here to be functional. This is a very solid and good looking watch. The display is easy to read with large numbers/letters and a distinguished back light, much better than the casio that I lost (and half the price!). Setting it up was very leisurely and it is comfortable. I prefer a metal band to the resin bands on the other version of this watch. The pack is solid and easy to adjust (wikihow has a brief article on adjusting the band called "Settle-a-Casio-S-935L-Watch-Band"). The watch is thicker than most of the previous watches that I have had. At first I was anxious about this, but now that I've worn it for a while, I don't really notice. I haven't had it long enough to notice...

    Skilled watch except for thermometer!
I bought this protect recently and as any Casio watch its great looking and worth fully for the price tag. Compass, Wonderful timer, Stop watch, Alarm and timer features are great and easy to work. My only complain is the thermometer which I find practically useless. The instruction manual says watch sensor wishes 30 min to adjust to the atmospheric temperature. For instance if you take your watch from warm place to a head environment it will give erroneous readings for 30 mins!! And if you are wearing your watch, you can't depend on the reading at all since company temperarture will ridiculously increase the reading even in a cold winter day! If you take off your watch and try to measure.. you have to bide one's time 30 mins to get accurate readings. So this sensor is not useful at all for measuring temperature when you are outdoors. Other than this, I like the of.
1st Compass See and I Like It
This is my first compass surveillance. I was concerned that the compass would be difficult to use and calibrate. After receiving the watch I was easily able to use and adjust the compass. A neat undocumeted feature of the watch is that the current time is displayed in all modes - earth time (which also shows the name of the world time city selected), compass, stopwatch, countdown timer, and excitement. The digits are large and easy to read. The backlight illuminates the digits, not the whole watch countenance. The cloth band is very comfortable and looks sturdy and well made. All in all a very good value for the money.
    Complicated watch.
Like many, I have had Casio watches for years. This on the lookout for is not my first, but it is one of my most recent and favorite purchases of a Casio watch. First off. No rubber watch band that will unevenness after a few years of use in salt water. This is a rubberized nylon band. Green - not my favorite - but still stalwart. Second, the watch face is pretty large. And better yet, the digital clock has accurate large numbers. Third, the features are nice. This watch has a digital compass which is objectively easy to set up, but will probably require the use of the internet beyond the instructions. Multiple alarms, stopwatch, timer and period time constitute the features on this watch beyond the compass. It is sturdily built, with the band, mineral aspect, a plastic ring around the watch face to prevent scratches, and a very solid feel. However, the superintend is quite light as well. It is also supposed to be quite water resistant...
